Live in Fellowship with Christ
God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, if faithful (1 Cor.1:9)
God has given us a wonderful privilege. He has called us to share in the life of Jesus Christ. When the full meaning of this divine gift dawns on you, the implications are almost too great to envision.
To share in the life of Jesus Christ implies unlimited possibilities, but also great responsibilities. When we are connected to the wisdom of God, your understanding of God is deepened, and your vision of what your life can be is expanded and you become aware of the enduring presence of Christ. But such intimacy with the Master creates certain responsibilities. The quality of your life has to be in accordance with the expression of your faith. The characteristics of God must be reflected in your life through love, complete honesty, unselfishness and purity of purpose.
To express the Spirit of Christ to the best of your ability you should develop a vision of what you can achieve for the Master. You are no longer restricted by secret fears and uncertainties, but can move confidently forward in the empowering strength of the living Christ.
Christ offers Himself to you so that you may share in His life and share your life with Him. But this offer only becomes a reality when you accept it in faith. You may have the knowledge of this glorious truth, but until you have made it your own with a relationship with Christ, you will not experience the strength and joy of the presence of Jesus Christ in your life.
Something to ponder:
“Should you be arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough proof to convict you”? –David Otis Fuller-
REMINDER: Wednesday night Bible Study dinner is POT LUCK… So any dish brought greatly helps, as our numbers in attendance are growing…
