This ministry has much the same purpose and function as the Men’s Ministry except that it is for women.  It is a ministry designed to empower women to become God’s women, belonging to God and behaving in a manner consistent with the moral nature of God.

This ministry is designed to nurture women through discipleship.  The purpose of this nurture is to develop a spiritually, socially, mentally, and emotionally whole woman who can be an authentic witness in her concentric circle of influence.

This ministry will include women of the church, whether single or married.  It will also relate to other ministries in the church.  It will be concerned with evangelizing women, engaging in mission projects, and developing girls into women.  These women will not merely function within the women’s ministry but throughout the church fellowship.  However, God’s order and design will be followed in that women will not serve in the pulpit preaching, elder or deacon functions. (1 Timothy 2:8-13; 16).  The women should share in the ministries of the church like Mary, Martha, Elizabeth, Dorcas, Phoebe, Pricilla, Lois, and Eunice.  We must note that Paul’s admonishment for women to keep silent in the church had reference to speaking in tongues and not in ministry activities.

Happy New Year Church Family!! So much in the world has changed in a short period of time, the world around us, how and where we worship, our neighborhood, gathering spaces and places, the places we work, and even in our own homes. Life during Covid-19 has sparked fear, frustration and anxiety all around us. So many of us have lost loved ones during this pandemic, which has been incredibly hard and difficult. Make sure the people you care about know you're there for them and that you love them. Remember that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of Power, Love and self control. May God bless and be safe. I pray this year we will be able to get back to all ministries as usual.
